Rolling into a ramp from the flat ground: the gentle entry where the rider pumps in from the flat bottom instead of dropping from the coping.

Roll In

Approach the bottom of the ramp rolling on flat, bend the knees, and ride straight up the transition a short way before rolling back down.
It is the first step before learning the drop-in, teaching how the transition feels under the wheels.
