The rider wraps the board around the planted leg's calf, then unwraps to land riding. Invented by Derek Belen.

Calf Wrap

With one foot planted on the ground, the rider uses the other foot to swing the board around the calf of the planted leg, wrapping it fully.
The board is then unwrapped in one motion and the rider steps back on to roll away.
An earlier slower version was called the Flamingo or Figure Four.
